Luxemburg 2 Euro 2025 75. Jahrestag der Schuman-Erklärung UNC

In the lower part, a hand writing with a pencil on a sheet of paper is depicted. The top of the pencil ends in an olive branch that transitions into doves – two symbols of peace. The doves fly toward the horizon, where six stars are visible, representing the six member states that later sign the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, whose foundations are laid by the Schuman Declaration. At the top of the image is the text “DECLARATION SCHUMAN” and its date – “09.05.1950”. Below, the number “75” indicates the anniversary of the declaration. The name of the issuing country, “LUXEMBOURG”, as well as the year of issue “2025”, are located on the right side of the image. The monogram (the letter “H” with a crown) represents Grand Duke Henri. On the outer ring of the coin, the 12 stars of the European flag are depicted.
