Läti 2 eurot 2020 Lätgale keraamika UNC

The coin is dedicated to Latgalian pottery. Traditional pottery was made over long periods of time in two regions, Latgale and Kurzeme, but only in Latgale has it survived through the years and been passed on to subsequent generations. Latgalian pottery is also included in the Latvian cultural canon. The coin depicts a characteristic representative of Latgalian ceramics – a clay candlestick. On it are inscribed "LATGALES KERAMIKA" (Latgalian ceramics), the name of the state "LATVIJA", as well as the year of issue "2020". On the outer ring of the coin are depicted the 12 stars of the European Union.
