The inner part of the coin features a portrait of the famous Belgian painter Pieter Bruegel the Elder, with an easel painting positioned beside him. Above this image are inscribed the name "P. BRUEGEL", the year of the artist's death – "1569", marked with a small cross, and the year of issue – "2019".
