The image represents a panorama of the monumental complex, and in particular of the central square. At the top are inscribed the word "ESPAÑA" in capital letters and the year of minting "2023". In the upper right is the mint mark. At the bottom is inscribed in capital letters the word "CÁCERES". The outer ring of the coin depicts the 12 stars of the European Union.
