Slovakia 2 Euro 2023 Horse Post Vienna - Bratislava UNC

200th anniversary of the introduction of the express mail service between Vienna and Bratislava, carried out by horse-drawn carriage

Description: The symbolic image of the express mail service between Vienna and Bratislava is represented by a galloping horse-drawn carriage and a centrally placed rectangular inset element with a post horn. Below the image is inscribed the year "1823", when the express mail service was introduced, and below that date are the names of the two cities in Slovak – "VIEDEŇ" and "BRATISLAVA", one above the other. In the lower part of the inner circle of the coin is the year of issue "2023", separated from the text above by a horizontal line. The name of the issuing country "SLOVENSKO" is inscribed along the upper edge of the image. To the right of the carriage is the mark of the Kremnica Mint (Mincovňa Kremnica), consisting of the initials "MK" placed between two dies. Just below the mark are the stylized initials "MP", which refer to the author of the national side design, Mária Poldaufová. The outer ring of the coin depicts the 12 stars of the European Union.
